Kootenay Lakeview Lodge is one of my favorite West Kootenay wedding venues. Reg, the manager specializes in catering for weddings and it shows. There is a lodge, 9 hole golf course and mini-golf course which makes the location ideal for large family gatherings. The backdrop of the East Shore of Kootenay Lake and the Purcell mountains is icing on the cake.

When the wedding commissioner's daughter gets married and selects me as the photographer - you better bring your A-game! This wedding involved a ceremony for 200 in Silverton and a boat ride over to the Valhalla Provincial Park for romantic and adventure photos. I live in New Denver just minutes away from local wedding favorites like the Kohan Gardens on the shore of Slocan Lake.

Of course you want a photographer to mark this milestone in your life. You may have eloped, or you might have hundreds of family and guests. It is important to have valuable photographic memories. A well composed photograph is very different from a snapshot. Wedding photos are a blend of portraits, group photos and capture the moment photography.
