Kootenay Lakeview Lodge is one of my favorite West Kootenay wedding venues. Reg, the manager specializes in catering for weddings and it shows. There is a lodge, 9 hole golf course and mini-golf course which makes the location ideal for large family gatherings. The backdrop of the East Shore of Kootenay Lake and the Purcell mountains is icing on the cake.

Weddings at family properties have a special attachment for the bride and groom. The home might be a place that you will return to many times over the coming years. Catering sometimes is managed by relatives. The atmosphere can be very relaxing and accommodating for everyone. You might have a special place that you want for your intimate wedding photographs. These are photos that you will treasure forever.

When the wedding commissioner's daughter gets married and selects me as the photographer - you better bring your A-game! This wedding involved a ceremony for 200 in Silverton and a boat ride over to the Valhalla Provincial Park for romantic and adventure photos. I live in New Denver just minutes away from local wedding favorites like the Kohan Gardens on the shore of Slocan Lake.

Kootenay Lakeview Lodge has it all. The bride can prepare herself in the well appointed bridal suite. The ceremony and reception are located right outside the door on the beautiful grass of the par 3 golf course. World famous Kokanee Creek Provincial Park is just down the road on the shore of Kootenay Lake. The light in the afternoon at the Lodge makes for perfect photographs.

Halcyon Hot Springs is being discovered as a perfect location for weddings. Located on the shores of Arrow Lakes near Nakusp and the Shelter Bay Ferry it is mid-way between Calgary and Vancouver just off Highway 1 in the West Kootenay. There are a variety of accommodation available and the cutest little church for ceremonies or as a photo backdrop. I live 45 minutes south in New Denver and love filming weddings at Halcyon.

Everyone has their own ideas on what they want their wedding to represent. I love to help make your wedding day perfect. A good wedding photographer co-ordinates time for family photos, wedding party, intimate couple shots and of course the ceremony and reception. My experience in wedding photography extends from Calgary to Vancouver with all budgets.

A limousine is always a good way to transport your loved ones! Everyone wants to party at your wedding. I want to capture the moments that will last a lifetime. The wedding day can be a stress-full time for the Bride and Groom - take time away from everyone and share some time with your new partner. Some of the best photos of your life will be in these moments.

The historic Blaylock mansion is perhaps The West Kootenay wedding venue. A large garden surrounds the main lodge. The ceremony is typically held in the upper garden with stunning views of Kootenay Lake. Old stonework and wisteria make incredible backdrops for an elegant wedding.

If you are a skier or a snowboarder then perhaps getting married in the winter is perfect. What better way to celebrate your love for your partner than skiing in the Powder Triangle of the Kootenay Rockies. I love the winter. Before I was married and before my first child I was the official photographer for Wildhorse Catskiing and took hundreds of client photos.
